To get to Medfield’s McCarthy Partk (aka Hospital Field) from route 128, take exit 16B (Route 109W) toward Westwood. Go approximately 8 miles and you’ll be in Medfield center. At the CVS (Rt. 27) make a right turn. Go north about a 2.5 miles and there will be a blue sign for Medfield State Hospital on your right. Make a right there (Hospital Rd.). Go about ½ mile, the hospital complex will be on your left. On your right are open fields and a dirt road. Make a right onto that dirt road and follow it to the end (1/4 mile or so). Park anywhere.
From the north, take 27 south. Once you cross the Charles River from Sherborn into Medfield go ½ mile. The turnoff for Hospital Rd. will be on your left.
From anywhere else, get to the junction of Routes 27 and 109. There is a Friendly’s, a CVS and a Cumberland Farms there. Go north on 27 for about 2.5 miles and follow directions above, but the turnoff is on the right.

From Route 128 – Take exit 16B, (WestwoodRt109) onto Route 109 west. You will drive through Westwood, Walpole, Dover, then Medfield. At the first stop light in Medfield center (109 and South St.), turn left. About 1/2 mile down the road turn left into Medfield High/Middle School complex.
From Route 495- Take exit 19 onto 109 east. Follow 109 through Milford, Medway (the road takes an S-curve through a light by an old white church), Millis and then Medfield. Once you cross over the Charles river and pass the cemetary, there is the first light, at Friendlys. At the third light (109 and South St.), turn right. The Medfield High/Middle School complex is about 1/2 mile down South Street on the left.
From Route 9- Take Speen Street to Route 27 south through Natick, Sherborn and into Medfield. At the intersection of 27 and 109, by Friendly's, turn left onto Route 109 East. At the second light, turn right onto South Street. Medfield High/Middle School is about 1/2 mile on the left.
From Route 1- Take Route 27 north through Walpole and into Medfield. At the intersection of Route 109 and 27 turn right onto Route 109 east. At the second light, turn right onto South Street. Medfield High/Middle School is about 1/2 mile on the left.

To get to Medfield’s Metacomet Park field from route 128, take exit 16B (Route 109W) toward Westwood. Go approximately 7 1/2 miles and you’ll be in Medfield Center. Across from the Mobil station, between the Library and BankBoston (Pleasant Street) make a left turn. Go about ½ mile and the field will be on your right. Just past the field is the parking lot.
From I-495, take exit 19 (Route 109E) toward Medway. Go approximately 10 miles to Medfield Center. Go south (right turn) on Rte. 27 for about ½ mile and at Curve St. make a left. Go another ¼ mile and the Metacomet Field will be on your left. Make a left there on Pleasant St. to park in the lot.
From anywhere else, get to the junction of Routes 27 and 109. There is a Friendly’s, a CVS and a Cumberland Farms there. Follow directions above.

To get to Medfield’s Wheelock School from route 128, take exit 16B (Route 109W) toward Westwood. Go approximately 7.5 miles and you’ll be in Medfield center. At the first traffic light, between the church and Lord’s (South Street) make a left turn. Go about a mile and just before the R.R. tracks, Elm Street will be on your left. Make a left there and the school is ¼ mile on the right. The lacrosse field is directly behind the building.
From I-495, take exit 19 (Route 109E) toward Medway. Go approximately 10 miles to Medfield Center. Go south (right turn) on 27 for about a mile and at South St. make a left. Go another quarter of a mile and just past the tracks, Elm St. will be on your right. Make a right there and the school is ¼ mile on the right. The lacrosse field is directly behind the building.
